Vasectomy
Vasectomy is the most reliable form of birth control available. Many men and their partners find sex more enjoyable once they can stop using birth control pills, condoms, or other forms of contraception without concern for an unexpected pregnancy.
Dr. Lazarou is proud to offer the no-scalpel technique for vasectomies. With excellent local anesthetic the procedure is essentially pain-free and takes less than 30 minutes to perform in the office. There is no negative effect on sex drive, erections or penile sensation. There is only a minimal effect on the overall volume of fluid ejaculated.
Vasectomy Reversal
Dr. Lazarou has a wealth of experience in microsurgical vasectomy reversals. His specialized microsurgery training, along with his experience in the utilization of the latest technological advances, result in successful pregnancy for the majority of men and their partners. Sperm can also be collected and frozen at the time of the reversal, particularly if the couple wishes to proceed immediately with additional treatments, such as in-vitro fertilization. Dr. Lazarou also specializes in successfully repairing previously failed vasectomy reversals done elsewhere.
